PURPOSE:To reduce the processing time of the titled material, and to prevent the titled material from the faulty recoloring and the generation of a bleach- fogging by incorporating a specified cyan dye forming coupler in the titled material, and at least one mol. of an iodine ion per 1l of a bleach-fix bath in said bath, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material contains at least one kind of the cyan dye forming coupler shown by formula I or II. At least one mol. of iodine ion is incorporated in 1l of the bleach-fix bath. In formulas, R<1>, R<2> and R<4> are each an aliphatic aryl or a heterocyclic ring group, R<3> and R<6> are each hydrogen or halogen atom, or an aliphatic group, etc., R<5> is alkyl group, R<7> is hydrogen atom or 2-12C alkyl group, Z1, and Z2 are each hydrogen atom or a group capable of releasing at the time of an oxidation coupling reaction with a developing main agent, (n) is 0 or 1. Thus, the processing time of the titled material is reduced, and the faulty recoloring does not occur, even in the case that the titled material having the high sensitivity and the high silver content is proceeded for a long period, and the bleach fogging is difficult to generate. |
