PURPOSE:To dehydrate continuously and automatically various kinds of sludge under pressure by treating continuously the sludge in various stages for filtering under pressure, dehydrating cake, removing cake and washing filter clotch thereby decreasing the moisture content of the sludge with good efficiency and preventing the clogging in the filter cloth. CONSTITUTION:Sludge-contg. cement or sludges contg. org materials such as mud, excrement, or the like is supplied by a pressure pump 13 into a pressure filtering dehydrator 17, where the sludge is pressed and dehydrated by an endless filter cloth 3 passing in the dehydrator and is filtered as cake C on the filter cloth 3. The filtrate is discharged through a draining port 25. The filter cloth deposited thereon with the cake C is pressed by a press roll 77 and a receiving roll 75, via a guide roll 73, then the cake C transfers onto the roll 77. The transferred cake C' is scraped by a scraper 85 onto a conveyor 87. The filter cloth 3 enters the inside of a washing water tank 95, where it passes a cage type roll 101 and is cleaned by a nozzle 103 for ejecting water ultrasonically and a squeezing roll 107 to a clean filter cloth having no remaining cake. Said filter cloth is again circulated to the dehydrator 17. |
