PURPOSE:To make a solid-state image pick-up element to be provided with the image pick-up functions of a visible image and an infrared image together by a method wherein Schottky diodes having sensitivity to infrared rays, and photoconductive elements having sensitivity to visible rays and formed thereon interposing infrared rays transmissible SiO2 films between them are arranged two-dimentionally. CONSTITUTION:At a case to pick up an infrared image, when a picture is projected to the surface of a photoelectric converting part 6, because infrared rays are not absorbed by a transparent electrode 21, a photoconductive film 20 and an under electrode 19 constructing a photoconductive element 5, and an SiO2 film 14, a metal side electrode 11 constructing a Schottky diode 1 is illuminated by the infrared rays, and according to scanning of vertical shift register 3 and horizontal shift register 7, stored electrons at the metal side electrodes 11 corresponding to irradiating light volume of the infrared rays to the whole Schottky diodes 1 are outputted in order from an output part 8. Moreover when a visible image is to be picked up, electrons corresponding to irradiating light volum of visible rays to the whole photoconductive elements 5 are outputted in order from the output part 8 similarly with the case to pick up the infrared image. |
