PURPOSE:To enable good cutting at all times as well as to prolong service life for a cutting upper tool, by installing two fluid spray nozzles in front and in the rear sides of the cutting upper tool, making this upper tool go down while widening the pitch interval of a corrugate member, and cutting this widened part into the specified length. CONSTITUTION:Two fluid spray nozzles 51 and 53 are installed in front and in the rear sides of a cutting upper tool 23, making the sprayed fluid so as to be crossed on the extension of a tool surface 27, and thereby these nozzles 51 and 53 also go down with the lowering of the upper tool 23, therefore a corrugate fine 35 being situated in an intersection point of the sprayed fluid is extended wider, thus a widened part 59 is cut by the upper tool 23. In this case, if the upper tool 23 goes down up to the specified position, a limit switch comes on, a solenoid valve 61 of a fluid feed pipe 49 is opened, and air is fed out of a compression pump 47. Accordingly, at the time of the upper tool 23 lowering, even if a trough part of the corrugate fin 35 gets out of position just under the tool surface 27 more or less, good cutting is possible, and since excessive force will not act on the upper tool 23, its service life is prolonged.
