<p>PURPOSE:To easily define a graphic by drawing a specified contour shape on a display screen to indicate a prescribed corner part of the contour shape via a graphic cursor and then supplying the dimensions to put a chamfer shape or a round shape into said corner part. CONSTITUTION:A specified contour shape is drawn on the display screen of a display device 106 with no consideration given to the chamfer or roundness at a corner. Then an item 'chamfer input' or 'roundness input' is picked up out of a column 'shape processing' set on a menu table 108b. Thus, a chamfer input or roundness input mode is set. In this input mode, a prescribed corner part of the contour shape is indicated by a graphic cursor. Then, a chamfer shape or a round shape is put into the corner part after input of the dimensions. Thus, it is possible to omit the consideration given to the chamfer or roundness when a graphic is defined.</p> |
