PURPOSE:To discharge atomized fog efficiently by a method wherein an atomizer, a heating device, and a water level detecting means are installed at a water pan placed at the lower part of a heat exchanger at the outdoor side and atomized fog is guided to the opening part of a guide wall stepped at the lower surface of the casing of an air blower at the outdoor side. CONSTITUTION:When the temp. of defrosted water 20 recovered in a water pan 15 reaches 0 deg.C or less particularly at the time of space heating operation, electricity is supplied to a heating means 19 by the signal of a water temp. detecting means 24 and the water is heated to about 2 deg.C to be prevented from freezing. When the water level of the water 20 increases and reaches a water level detecting means 21, fog A is discharged from an ejecting port 23 by the operation of the oscillator 22 of an atomizer 18 and passes through a heat exchanger 13 at the outdoor side from the opening of a guide wall 27 stepped at the lower surface of the casing of an air blower at the outdoor side and then is accelerated by ejecting air from an ejecting port at the outdoor side of a mainbody to be scattered far away. Thus, drain water generated at the time of space cooling operation and defrosting water generated at the time of space heating operation can be scattered far away in the form of fog without being stagnated near the outdoor side of the mainbody. |
