PURPOSE:To make it possible to simplify the arrangement of an auxiliary manually conveying tool for plate-like materials such as steel plates or the like which are difficult in handling, and to facilitate the use of it by providing such an arrangement that a worker wears an L-like receiver by use of a shoulder harness and a waist harness. CONSTITUTION:A shoulder harness 8 is set diagonally on one shoulder of a worker over a shoulder pad cushion 10 set on the shoulder so that an L-like receiver 1 is positioned around one side of the waist of the worker. Then, a waist harness 12 piercing through a support element 5 for the receiver 1 is set to the waist with a cushion mat 15 being disposed therebeneath. Further, a plate-like material is set sidelong on the receiving section 3 of the receiver 1, and is conveyed while the worker holds the upper edge of the plate-like material. With this arrangement, it is possible to obtain an auxiliary tool which has a simple arrangement and is easy to handle.
