PURPOSE:To enhance the rack efficiency in a replenishing system for managing two warehouses in combination by judging whether replenishment is necessary or not for a first warehouse in accordance with a storage rate upon delivery from a second warehouse so as to replenish the first warehouse during the delivery. CONSTITUTION:The numbers of articles stored in first and second warehouse, a standard storing number of articles stored in the first warehouse and a reference storage rate of articles stored in the first warehouse are stored in a memory means 3. Further, during delivery of the second warehouse a discriminating means 4 computes a storage rate from the number of articles stored in the first warehouse and the standard storage rate, and compares thus computed storage rate with the reference storage rate. Further, if the storage rate is less than the reference storage rate, it is determined that the replenishment is necessary, and the first warehouse is replenished with articles by the number of difference between the reference storage number and the storage number as a number of articles to be replenished, during delivery from the second warehouse. With this arrangement, it is possible to reduce the number of workers and to enhance the rack efficiency. |
