PURPOSE:To secure the feed and control of oxygen at the time of baking by only controlling the filling rate of a mixture to make the oxygen quantity in the mixture an adequate quantity when filling the mixed powder for superconducting material into a stabilizing material or a covering material. CONSTITUTION:The mixed powder of a superconducting material contains the II group element, III group element, and I group element in the periodic table or the oxide, carbonate, sulfide, fluoride of them. The mixed powder is filled into a stabilizing material or a covering material and baked. For example, the fine powder of Y2O3, BaCO3, CuO is mixed at the desired weight ratio and filled into a pipe made of copper at the filling rate of about 90%, both ends are welded by an electron beam, and it is extended and shrunk in diameter. Next, many of them are bundled and baked in a baking furnace at 940 deg.C for 24hr so that the adequate quantity of oxygen is contained in the mixture. Accordingly, the superconducting material is enveloped by the stabilizing material, and the superconducting characteristic excellent in the mechanical strength, machining property, and stability can be obtained.
