PURPOSE:To execute disassembly at high speed without using a large scale file by putting a mark on trace data which is the head of an instruction code in case of disassembling the trace data. CONSTITUTION:In case of executing the indication of disassembly at a location t1, a development supporting device 1 makes a mark bit for showing that it is the head of the instruction one. When an indicating command which shows that the indication of disassembly at tn should be executed is inputted from an input means 3, the development supporting device 1 searches the mark bit one by retracing from the trace data of the location tn and when it reaches the desirable location tn after starting the disassembly at that point, it indicates it on an indication means 2. If addresses which indicates the disassembly are altered one after another, the mark bit one is added every alteration.
