摘要 PURPOSE:To control an engine speed variation, by making the initial value of a feedback compensation value at the time of a start of feedback control over the idling speed, possible to be set so as to take the larger in value, the larger in external load on an engine. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is in a state of satisfying the specified driving condition, a feedback compensation value DF is set by a compensation value setting device A on the basis of a difference between actual speed and desired idling speed of the engine, and with this compensation value DF, a suction air quantity is controlled for feedback by a suction air quantity control device B. And, size of external load on the engine is detected by an external load detecting device C, whereby such compensation as making the compensation value DF larger is performed by an initial value compensating device D according to the size of the detected external load. And, when the engine is shifted from the state that it fails to satisfy the specified driving condition to that it satisfies it, such feedback control that uses the compensation value DF after compensation as the initial value is made so as to be performed.
