<p>A lubricant composition for synthetic fibres comprises 50% or less by weight of a polyamylsiloxane having a viscosity of 8000-20,000 centistokes measured at 25 DEG C., and 50% or more by weight of a polydimethylsiloxane having a viscosity of 5-100 centistokes measured at 25 DEG C. The composition may also include silicone oils, mineral oil, butyl stearate, methyl ricinoleate, butyl acetylricinoleate, polyether glycols, alkyl phenol ethers, isopropyl alcohol, trichloroethylene, and plasticizers such as zinc stearate, magnesium stearate and polyethylene oxide esters of stearic acid.ALSO:A lubricant composition for synthetic fibres comprises 50% or less by weight of a polyamylsiloxane having a viscosity of 8000-20,000 centistokes measured at 25 DEG C., and 50% or more by weight of a polydimethylsiloxane having a viscosity of 5-100 centistokes measured at 25 DEG C.
