PURPOSE:To prepare easily and inexpensively a superconductive ceramic having a thin film structure by forming each layer of IIa group element, IIIa group element, and metallic Cu or Cu oxide on each surface for forming the layer, then oxidizing and calcining the whole body. CONSTITUTION:Layers of each IIa group metal or oxide of the metal, IIIa group metal or oxide of the metal, and Cu or Cu oxide are formed in layers on each surface for each layer. The formation of each layer is attained by forming each layer of these metals or oxides by vacuum deposition, sputtering, printing, coating, or vapor phase deposition, forming a multilayered structure by forming >=2 layers. Then, the whole body of the layered product is oxidized and calcined to obtain a superconductive ceramic thin film. The above described ceramic has a constitution expressed by (A1-xBx)yCuOz [wherein (x) is 0.01-0.3; (y) is 1.0-2.2; (z) is 2.0-4.5]. In this constitution, it is preferred that A is at least one among rare earth elements such as Y; B is at least one among alkaline earth metals such as Ra. |
