A disk drive device (30) for driving a disk (5) into rotation includes a center spindle (31) engaging in a center opening (9) provided to a disk hub (10) mounted to the center of one surface of a disk (5) and a disk table (32) supporting the one surface of the disk and adapted to rotate as one with said center spindle (31). According to the invention, the disk supporting surface of the disk table (32) is projected beyond the forward end of the center spindle (31), and a guide surface (35) for guiding the disk hub (10) in a direction in which the center spindle (31) is engaged in the center opening (9) is formed on the inner periphal side of the disk supporting surface(33).
