LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To permit display of black and good contrast without changing the hue and brightness when no electric fields are applied to a panel from the hue and brightness of the conventional panel by providing a filter for cutting a short wavelength side region on a polarizing plate. CONSTITUTION:This panel has the characteristic to cut a low band region. There is a problem of crosstalk and in addition, yellowish colors are visible and contrast is poor with a liquid crystal panel for which a filter 5 is used. Such panel is unusable. However, there is not transmission of 400-500nm wavelength and bluish colors are invisible when an intermediate electric field is applied to the panel. The bluish colors are thereby eliminated when the electric field in the actual use state is applied to the panel. The display of the black and good contrast is thus permitted.
