PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having excellent heat, low-temperature impact resistance and appearance of molded products after coloring, by blending polyphenylene ether with a rubber-modified polystyrene. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by blending (A) 5-95wt.% polyphenylene ether with (B) 95-5wt.% rubber-modified aromatic vinyl compound based polymer prepared by polymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound, as necessary, other vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith in the presence of a rubbery copolymer constituted of 5-29wt.% alkyl (meth)acrylate and 95-71wt.% conjugated diene and (C) 0-90wt.% aromatic vinyl compound based polymer. The component (A) has preferably 0.25-0.7dl/g intrinsic viscosity. A copolymer of n-butyl acrylate and 1,3-butadiene is used as the component (B.
