PURPOSE:To realize low cost, by switching and inputting an input electrical signal by a first switch, and switching and outputting an output electrical signal by a second switch. CONSTITUTION:The first switch 30-11 switches the input electrical signal by a switch control circuit 31-1, and supplies it to a first or second electric/optical converter, and makes the converter output an optical signal having first or second wavelength, and makes send it to an optical fiber 21 with one core. The second switch 30-12 selects and outputs the output electrical signal converted by first or second optical/electric converter by the switch control circuit 31-1. By switching the first and the second switches 30-11 and 30-12, it is possible to attach compatibility on a wavelength multiplex optical transmitter 20-1, and to perform bidirectional transmission by using one kind of wavelength multiplex optical transmitter. In such a way, operability can be improved and also, the low cost can be realized. |
