PURPOSE:To prevent slippage of belt due to rain drops and to facilitate removal of driven pulley and replacement of belt, by covering drive and driven pulleys and a belt entrained about the pulleys while reducing the size of driven pulley. CONSTITUTION:A small diameter pulley 21 is provided on a drive shaft 22 of a motor 25, and a belt 20 is entrained about the pulley 10 of a driven shaft 11. A supporting base 13 is arranged on the driven shaft 11 through a key 12, and secured with a pulley disc 15 through a bolt 16 penetrating through a slotted hole. The pulley disc 15 is secured to the driven shaft 11 through a wedge member 14 and a bolt 17, and when the bolt 16 is released and the bolt 17 is removed, the pulley 15 slides through tensile force of belt in the direction of the drive shaft 22 thus enabling replacement of the belt. The belt reduction gear 28 is entirely covered with a frame board 30 and a maintenance cover member 31 in order to prevent slippage of belt due to intrusion of rain.
