<p>PURPOSE:To remarkably omit trouble of a CD controller by constituting the titled device so that a CD executes appropriately a processing of a card, by an ineffective reason code which is registered together in a table recording an ineffective transaction medium. CONSTITUTION:When a user inserts a card into an automatic cash paying device CD 1, a card read/write mechanism 3 reads a card data. Subsequently, with respect to an account number of the card, when the coincident account number exists in an ineffective account table, an ineffective reason code corresponding to the ineffective account number is fetched. At the time of the ineffective reason code + 10 (a card whose theft or loss is reported), a control part 7 gives a command to the mechanism 3 and collects the card into the device. At the time of the ineffective reason code + 20 (a card of a retired person and a card to which it is desired to stop use of the CD), 'monthly use limit amount' and 'enterprice code' are rewritten to '0' by the mechanism 3 and the card is returned. At the time of the ineffective reason code = 30 (a card to which it is desired to stoop use of the CD temporarily) rewriting of the card is not executed and the card is returned to the user.</p> |
