<p>PURPOSE:To change a program in accordance with a user's demand or a specification change in a state that a controller body has been installed to a vehicle, by providing a storage element which can execute write and an erasion of the program, and a means for changing the program by a data transfer from the outside. CONSTITUTION:By turning ON of a switch for program 3, a stabilized power source 6 in a controller body 1 is operated, a power source is supplied to each electronic element in the body 1, and simultaneously, write is requested to an input/output device 11. Subsequently, an access mode is set by inserting an ignition key 4, and by using an output of an AND circuit 13, the device 11 is allowed to generate a select signal, it is applied to buffers 7 and 14, and they are activated. Simultaneously, the select signal is applied to an EEP-ROM 5, as well, a built-in program is transferred to a RAM 12, and when an interruption request is given to a CPU 10 from the device 11, a data of a compact disk being a changing means or an IC card 2 is written in the ROM 5 by using a serial communication program which has been transferred to the RAM 12.</p> |
