PURPOSE:To eliminate the overhead of the processing time by dividing addresses into the logical addresses that seem through a processing system and the real addresses that actually store data and controlling these addresses via a conversion table. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 for control system performs a symbol action of a language processing system. An address conversion table 2 contains a garbage collection GC flag part 22 which is used to the real time GC processing. A CPU 4 for GC performs the shift of data and the rewrite of the table 2 and contains registers 5-8. These registers 5-8 hold successively the read address of a main memory 3 that can be used at the processing system side, the real address which shifts the next data for GC processing, the real address to be swept next for decision of the data to be shifted, and the position, i.e., a logical address on the table 2 that can be used next respectively.
