PEN TYPE COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To realize the input of coordinates independently of a main body computer by providing a power supply as well as a memory part which stores the information received from a moved distance input part and a moving direction input part. CONSTITUTION:When a character string corresponding to a certain instruction delivered onto a screen is selected, the tip part of a pen type coordinate input device has a contact with a plane consisting of a non-specific substance and at the same time moves toward the character string. Thus the information on the moved distance and the moving direction are supplied to a moved distance input part 11 and a moving direction input part 12, respectively. The detected data on said distance direction can be sent to a main body computer directly or after the processing carried out by a CPU 13 via a connection code or by radio or can be stored in a memory part via the CPU 13 directly or after processing. A power supply 15 supply the power to each part.
