PEN TYPE COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To realize the input of coordinates in the same way as a case where characters are written in a small space by providing a moved distance input part where moved distance of the tip part of a pen type coordinate input device is supplied and a moving direction input part where the moving direction of said tip part is supplied. CONSTITUTION:When a character string corresponding to a certain instruction delivered onto a screen, the tip part of a pen type coordinate input device is moved toward the character string with a contact kept with a plane consisting of a non-specific substance. Thus a moved distance input part 11 and a moving direction input part 12 receive inputs of the information on relevant distance and direction respectively. Then the data on said distance and direction detected by both parts 11 and 12 are sent to a computer as the movement signals. These signals can be transmitted via a connection code or by radio.
