Means for disposing of products which are dangerous or highly toxic to people and the environment. The invention consists in depositing the extremely harmful products not on a layer of impermeable terrain, but under a layer of natural impermeable terrain 1. This layer of impermeable terrain should be situated well below the groundwater table 2. In order to satisfy these two conditions, it is sufficient to use certain deep mineworks 3 which afford these guarantees of superposed impermeable terrain.
