Locking unit

A description is given of a locking unit for the releasable connection of a basic part to an exchangeable part. The device according to the invention is distinguished in that one of the two parts exhibits a pin and the other part exhibits a complementary cutout, with the result that the two parts butt against each other in a positively locking manner when the pin engages into the cutout. The other part exhibits, parallel to a side surface of the cutout, a bore into which there is inserted a piston rod which has a conical constriction and is prestressed in the constriction direction. A further bore connects the cutout to the bore which is parallel thereto. Inserted into the further bore is a ball which butts against the conical constriction of the piston rod and rests in a cutout in the pin.
