Snow arrester grilles, roof hooks, step irons, flower boxes etc. are secured to tiled roofs by a fastener comprising a rigid support (7), whose foot is fixed to a plank (5) between the roof spars (1), and which incorporates an adjustment (10,11) to suit the roof angle. The adjustment extends through an opening in a boss formed in a special tile (4), the intermediate space being sealed by an elastic sleeve (8).
