PURPOSE:To obviate discontinuity in time and to eliminate the need for changing over the recognition of the time at a certain point of the time by inputting a time difference and the required time to a moving point to a timepiece, thereby correcting and displaying the time difference continuously in the required time. CONSTITUTION:The time difference is inputted to an arithmetic unit from an input device 5 and the required time from an input device 6 is inputted thereto in the case of correcting and displaying the time for the time difference continuously during the required time. The unit 3 decides whether the inputted time difference is the time difference advanced in time from the time of the home country or the time difference delayed therefrom, then said unit computes the inputted time difference A, the required time B and the ordinary speed C of the time display by the equation (A+B)divided by BXC. The unit 3 determines the correction speed which is the speed of the time display for continuous correction and display of the time for the time difference during the required time and supplies the time signal corresponding to the corrected speed to a driving device 2. The need for changing over the recognition of the time at certain point of the time is thus eliminated. |
