A tube or other squeezable container 9 containing medication 11 for gum disease is fitted with a device 12 having an extension terminating in a removable, flexible applicator trip 20. The extension and tip have connecting internal channels 15, 21 leading to the orifice 22 at the tip of the element so that medication squeezed from the tube is extruded through the channels and out of the orifice of the tip into the sub-gingival areas to be treated.
