PURPOSE:To decrease the burning sensation of face and the perspiration of the upper half of the body and to improve working efficiency, by covering a stationary heating plate with a heat-shielding member according to need to shield the radiant heat from the plate, thereby decreasing heat radiated to the face and upper half of the body of an operator. CONSTITUTION:A wheat gluten cake placed on a horizontal stationary heating plate 2 is covered with a movable heating plate 3 rotatably pivoted to an end of the stationary plate. The main body of a heat-shielding member 6a having a form of reed screen is placed in a manner reciprocatively movable along a horizontal plane on the heating plate 2 and a vertical plane connected to the horizontal plane near an end of the heating plate 2 excluding the side pivoting the heating plate 3 and dangling downward from the connected end. The area covering the heating plate 2 can be varied by moving the screen. A rail 6b is provided at least along the horizontal plane to guide the reciprocal motion of the heat-shielding main body 6a. The heat radiated to the face and the upper half of the body of an operator can be remarkably decreased to mitigate the fatigue of the operator and improve the working efficiency. |
