PURPOSE:To reduce the grating lobe level by not exciting element antennas being part of element antennas located at the surrounding of a curved face as array and having a small radiation contribution in the main beam direction. CONSTITUTION:The curved face array 1 is formed by arranging element antennas 2a, 2b,..., 2i in a curved face. A signal sent from a transmission source 3 is distributed by a power distributer 4 and fed to each element antenna via phase shifters 5a, 5b,..., 5i controlled by a feeding circuit 8 and a phase shifter controller 6. The element antennas at the surrounding where the ratio of the radiation level of the main beam direction of the array 1 of the element antenna with respect to the radiation level in the main radiation direction of the element antenna is smaller than a setting level decided from the standpoint of gain keep are not excited by a switch controller 9. Thus, the grating lobe level is reduced in this way.
