PURPOSE:To obtain an actuator which enables itself to realize its application to various apparatus by amplifying the displacement output of the laminated actuator by providing a ring consisting of each specific displacement input region, a stator, the first and the second displacement amplifiers, etc. CONSTITUTION:A ring 10 consisting of a displacement input region 11 connected to a laminated actuator, a stator 12 facing to the displacement input region 11 and the first and the second displacement amplifiers 13, 14 the both ends of which are connected to the displacement input region 11 and the stator 12 respectively and which are externally expanded each in an opposite direction is provided. The distance L1 between the displacement input region 11 and the stator 12 is set longer than the expansion L2 of the first or the second displacement amplifier 13, 14. For example, the above mentioned ring 10 is made of a material which has greater rigidity, smaller hysteresis between the time of a deformation and the time of a recovery and smaller coefficient of thermal expansion, an Fe-Cr system alloy, an Ni-Co system alloy or amber, etc. Each deformation amplifier 13, 14 is, in total, formed to an arc shape which is symmetric from left to right.
