PURPOSE:To simply obtain the titled medicine free from thermal decomposition in an active ingredient at a low cost, by cutting crude drugs and dried product thereof into thin piece having a specific thickness. CONSTITUTION:Crude drugs (e.g. Ginseng Radix, platycodi Radix, Cnidii Rhizoma, etc.) and dried product thereof are cut into thin piece having <=0.5mm, normally about 0.1mm thickness to provide the herb medicine. For example, water content is absorbed to or heated with Ginseng Radix (e.g. commercial HAKUSAN or Ginseng Radix Rubia, etc.) which is difficult to cut into thin piece having <=0.7mm even thickness and an article to be cut fixed on a belt can be cut to a prescribed thickness, by vertically moving a blade made of a superhard metal, ceramics, etc., and synchronizing the blade with the belt intermittently running toward the blade. According to the above-mentioned method, ingredient contained in the crude drug is readily extracted and filtrated without clogging because of being no powdery form. |
