<p>The invention makes possible the automatic separation of wire binding sections (3) of any desired length and shape. A strand of wire (2) is fed from a supply roll (1) into a sliding device (4) behind which a cutting device (6) is arranged. The length of the wire binding section (3) is measured by a sensor (19) which then triggers the cutting process through a processor (21). A second sensor (20) records the removal of the separated wire binding section (3).</p> |
