PURPOSE:To prevent wrong photography and unintentional photography from being performed by latching an electronic flash light emission mode set when a range measurement end signal is obtained, and inhibiting the electronic flash light emission mode from being reset until the completion of photography. CONSTITUTION:A camera operation control circuit 2 measures the brightness of a subject. An automatic focus detector 1 beings to measure the distance to the subject and outputs a distance measurement end signal to the circuit 2 when the distance measurement is completed. The circuit 2 checks whether or not the electronic flash light emission mode is entered from the subject brightness and film sensitivity, and checks an electronic flash light emission inhibition switch SW 1. When the electronic flash light emission mode is decided and the SW 1 is turned on, the electronic flash light emission mode is latched and the setting signal of the electronic flash light emission mode latched by the detector 1 and an electronic flash control circuit 3 is outputted. When an electronic flash reaches the timing of light emission, the circuit 3 sends a light emission trigger signal to an electronic flash device 4, which emits flash light. |
