PURPOSE:To bring a disk back to its housing position even when the disk is protruded from a housing part and the movement of a supporting body is disturbed, by providing a timer means which measures a prescribed time to move the supporting body between a supporting position and a reproducing position in a control circuit which controls the position of the supporting body. CONSTITUTION:A disk exchange control circuit 110, when detecting the fact that the driving of the supporting body is performed by a disk exchange mechanism 108 by a detecting means 111, makes the timer means 112 start to measure a time. In the timer means 112, the prescribed time is set in advance so that the prescribed time over the maximum time required for the displacement of the supporting body of the maximum distance between the supporting position and the reproducing position can be measured, and when the prescribed time is measured by the timer means, it is judged that the movement of the supporting body is disturbed by the disk being protruded from the housing part, and the positioning of the supporting body is performed corresponding to a housing position, then, the supporting body is stopped, and the a protruded disk is returned to the housing part by the disk exchange mechanism 108.
