<p>PURPOSE:To obviate any trouble at every part of a means due to scattering of drilling chips, by releasing a drilling mode when detecting a state of fullness in the chip receiver additionally installed in a drilling means, in the case of a copying machine or the like. CONSTITUTION:In the case of an electrophotographic copying machine or the like, when a drilling mode is set up, an uncopied sheet 11 to be fed out of a paper feeding part is conveyed through between upper and lower guide plates 21 and 22, and in a state of being temporarily stopped by a resist roller, it is drilled at the specified position as a drilling pin 23 goes down in guide holes 21a and 22a by excitation of a solenoid 24. Drilling chips 31 by this drilling are dropped in a chip receiving vessel 32 in a vessel pocket 33 at the lower part and stacked in pile. And, if these drilling chips 31 in the chip receiving vessel 32 become fullness, it is detected by fullness detecting photosensors 34 and 35, releasing the setting of the drilling mode. Thus, such nonconformity causes a trouble as biting chips at each part of mechanisms around a drilling device due to scattering of these drilling chips is ovbiable.</p> |
