PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to modify a control program at the time of the modification, etc., of a service program by providing an interface of a graphic terminal with an output section for sending processing results of the service program to the control program. CONSTITUTION:The service program A performs service processing at a request 101 from the control program, and sets its result in a specific location 102 and also sets the state of the processing result in the output section 103. The control program refers to an interface area 1 and performs processing according to output sections '0'-'3'. Namely, a service request is processed at 105, a specified image plane is formed at 106, a message is generated at 107, and a processed result is made to a message at 106; and some of the four output processes is used to output the result on the graphic terminal 4. Consequently, when the service program is modified, the control program need not be modified and the maintainability and expandability of the system are improved.
