[Also in Division D1] A laminated structure is made by bonding to a glass fabric a fabric other than a glass fabric, and then stitching through the bonded fabrics. The other fabric may either partially or wholly cover the glass fabric, and the laminated structure may be used for garments, for insulating covers, or for other articles of furnishing, such as curtains, in which the other fabric serves as a lining. Bonding may be effected either by adhesion, or by fusion of the other fabric, or by fusion of a film sandwiched between the fabrics. |
