PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. having excellent dye bath stability, leveling properties, fastness to light and dyeing reproducibility, consisting of a specified yellow dye and a red dye and/or a blue dye. CONSTITUTION:A pyridone monoazo compd. of the formula [wherein X is H, halogen, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy, an alkyl(oxy)carbonyl an alkylalkyloxycarbonyl, an alkylsulfonyl, an arylsulfonyl, an arylsulfonyl, a (substd.)carbamoyl or sulfamoyl or cyano; R is a 1-4C alkyl] as a yellow dye is mixed with C.I. Disperse Red 60 as a red dye and/or C.I. Disperse Blue 60 as a blue dye to obtain a disperse dye compsn. A pH adjuster and a disperse leveling agent are added to a dye bath in which said compsn. is dispersed in an aq. medium. A hydrophobic fiber is immersed therein and dyed at 105 deg.C or higher under pressure for 30-60min.
