PURPOSE:To enable printing of high quality to be always stably carried out by supplying an amount of ink enough to all nozzle holes still in the case of printing at a high speed, by making shortest distances between an ink supply opening and respective nozzle holes almost equal. CONSTITUTION:When current is applied to discharge pressure generation elements 9, ink in ink chambers 6, 6... is discharged from nozzle holes 11, 11... and, printing is effected on materials to be recorded. In that case, since an ink supply opening 12 is formed along parallel to the ink chambers 6, 6... and the ink nozzle holes 11, 11... arranged in a line, and in a slit state longer than an interval between the nozzles 11, 11 at both ends, shortest distances from the ink supply opening 12 to respective nozzle holes 11, 11... are almost equalized and ink supply conditions become the same, and the ink supply opening 12 always supplies stably equally ink to all the nozzle holes 11, 11.... Then, ink is stably discharged from all the nozzle holes 11, 11... and high quality printing can be stably carried out. |
