PURPOSE:To decrease power consumption by directly performing ON-OFF control of a switching transistor for controlling auxiliary DC output by means of a control transistor to be ON-OFF controlled according to said auxiliary DC output. CONSTITUTION:A switching regulator is composed of a main control transistor(Tr)1, a transformer 2 equipped with primary and secondary windings N1-N3, rectifying diodes 3-4, a smoothing circuit (a), a control circuit (b) and others. Also, the secondary winding N3 is equipped with an auxiliary switching Tr5 and a Tr6 for controlling Tr5 and a control circuit C detects an output V02 to control a conducting angle of power pulse from the secondary winding N3. Thus, a base driving power of the auxiliary Tr5 stabilizing the auxiliary DC output V02 is supplied from a main DC output V01 and an ON-OFF state of the controlling Tr6 is controlled according to said auxiliary DC output V02 so that said driving power of the auxiliary Tr5 can be made unnecessary.
