<p>1,4-Aminoalkylamino-9H-thioxanthen-9-ones of the following general formula have antlmicrobial activity and activity against leukemic cells. Methods for their preparation, use and pharmaceutical compositions are described: < IMG > (I) wherein R5, R6, R7 and R8, independently, are H, -OH or C1-4alkoxy; A and B, independently, are C2-5alkylene or OHsubstituted C2-5alkylene, and R1, R2, R3 and R4, independently, are H, C1-4alkyl or OH-substituted C1-4alkyl.</p> |
