PURPOSE:To decrease the correction quantity and the description quantity of a program by defining a character color, a rectangular pattern frame color and a display position, based on an attribute of a message display information designated by an information converting part. CONSTITUTION:An information converting part 5 defines a character color and a frame color of a rectangular pattern, etc., based on an attribute of a message of message display information designated by a message designating part 1, and also, defines a display position of a character-string and a display character-string, etc. Subsequently, in relation of these defined values, a function value is set, a pattern generation function and a character-string generation function are operated, and a result of its operation is given as picture drawing information to an information store part 2, and stored temporarily. Next, a display control part 3 reads out the picture drawing information, dot information corresponding to this picture drawing information is given to a display part 4, and a message is displayed.
