PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of data for through hole definition by providing an aperture table (APT) number where shapes of through holes are registered. CONSTITUTION:Display data of the shape and the size of one through hole on each printed board consists of an identification number (ID number) of the through hole, an aperture size code (ASC), and XY coordinates. The ASC number is expressed with an ASC table number (1-N), and the APT number (1-M) is stored in each of intersections among ASC numbers and display faces (parts face, silk face, and solder face). The APT number indicates a display graphic code and a number indicating the display size and is registered in the APT table. Thus, the quantity of data is reduced at the time of defining through holes because graphic data is not used but the ASC number and the APT number are used.
