PURPOSE:To prevent color shift caused by the parallel shift of the whole of a recording position by every color, by providing a detection means for detecting the leading end position of recording paper on the downstream of a recording means for recording image data on recording paper. CONSTITUTION:When the rear end of recording paper 2 reaches a recording paper end part detection sensor 12, the revolution of a platen roller 7 is stopped. At this time, the leading end of the recording paper 2 reaches the vicinity of the inlet of a partial feed path 23b and, when oblique running is generated in the recording paper 2, the leading end 2c of the recording paper 2 is brought into contact with the peripheral surfaces of rollers 5a, 5b, 5c to advance to the contact part with the platen roller 7 and, since the platen roller 7 is not revolved, the side of the leading end of the recording paper 2 is aligned so as to become parallel to the revolving center shaft of the platen roller 7. In this state, the platen roller 7 begins to revolve and the recording paper 2 is held to the pressure contact points of the platen roller 7 and the recording paper leading end prescribing rollers 5a, 5b, 5c and fed. |
