Rotary roller 1, arranged on an essentially circular axle 2, for conveying, supporting and/or holding down relatively light sheet material 3. The roller 1 is disposed movably on the said, essentially circular axle 2 with the aim of being able to be positionally adjusted along the axle 2 in relation to the material 3 which is intended to be conveyed, supported and/or held down by the roller 1. The roller encloses the said essentially circular axle 2. The roller 1 is made from a low-friction material and comprises a casing 4 which is rotatable on the axle 2 and is provided with an open, inner groove 5 directed towards the axle 2 and which further is constructed as an indivisible unit, the said axle 2 being provided with a threaded, elastic ring 6 of the rubber type, the inner dimension of which, in unaffected state, is somewhat less than the outer dimension of the axle 2, and the inner groove 5 in the casing 4 being larger in diameter than the outer dimension of the elastic ring 6 and the elastic ring 6 being located in the inner groove 5 in the casing 4. <IMAGE> |
