PURPOSE:To prevent a base film from being broken during recording and enable high-quality printing even on a recording paper having a rough surface, by providing a protective layer at least one of a bubbling agent and a foaming agent on the back side of the base film. CONSTITUTION:A protective layer comprising at least one of a bubbling agent and a foaming agent is provided on the back side of a base film. At least one inorganic or organic foaming agent may be used either singly or in combination. If required, a foaming assistant may be incorporated so as to control the decomposition temperature of the foaming agent. A binder for applying the foaming agent and the foaming assistant to the base film may be a thermoplastic resin or a hardenable resin. When the thermoplastic resin is used, a gas generated through decomposition under heating expands in the resin to push the base film in the direction of a recording paper, resulting in that a printing pressure is increased, and images with high printing quality can obtained. |
