PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal energy storing agent, capable of sustaining a fluid state at all times, readily carrying out heat transmission of a dispersed phase with a continuous phase and keeping temperature at a constant value, by dispersing the dispersed phase involving a solid-liquid phase change, an emulsifying agent and emulsion stabilizer in an oil as the continuous phase. CONSTITUTION:A thermal energy storing agent obtained by dispersing (B) a dispersed phase, normally consisting of an aqueous solution of a freezing point substance changing containing salts, such as sodium chloride, glycols, such as ethylene glycol, alcohols, such as methyl alcohol, and ammonia, and involving solid-liquid phase change in (A) an oil, such as LPG, naphtha, kerosene, light oil or flon, as a continuous phase using (C) an emulsifying agent and/or emulsion stabilizer consisting of PEG fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene nonyl phenol, etc. |
