PURPOSE:To improve the discrimination between the image part and the nonimage part of the titled material by incorporating a specified compd. into a substrate body. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains a compd. shown by formula I and capable of releasing an org. compd., copying adversely with a developing amount,and said org. compd. loses substantially a development retarding action by effecting an oxidation reduction reaction with the oxidant of a developing agent. In formula I, PWR is a group capable of releasing (Time)t-IDAF group by reducing it, Time is a group capable of releasing the IDAF group through the following reaction after releasing the (Time)t-IDAF group from the PWR group, (t) is an integer of 0 or 1, IDAF is a development retarding agent which loses the development retarding power by oxidizing it after releasing. Thus, the discrimination between the image part and the nonimage part of the titled material is improved. |
