PURPOSE:To obtain an operation checking means which is free from any manual operation by adding a special command for check of operations to the types of commands which are supplied to a communication controller from a host device. CONSTITUTION:A host device (not shown in the diagram) executes a test output command and delivers the coding information showing a state NOR, the coding information showing a transition factor E2 and the additional information to a communication controller 3. The controller 3 reads out an X direction address NOR and a control code P2 at the position of a Y direction address E1 and executes the processing decided by the code P2. Then the host device executes a test input command and reads the state obtained after execution of processing with said test output command out of the controller 3. This read-out state is compared with an expected correct state to decide the propriety of operations of the controller 3. |
